We started Through the Dutch Door in 2013 as a home improvement/DIY blog. It then progressed into selling handmade items from the blog. From there it continued to grow into what it is today. We are proud to offer you the highest quality handmade soap. We love creating something special that makes our customers happy!
Individualized care, quality craftsmanship
Each individual bar of soap is crafted, cut, packaged, and labeled by hand and given our utmost care and attention. You will notice this individuality in that no two bars of our soap are the same. They may vary in weight and color. We think this adds to the rustic, homemade charm of our product.
Environmentally friendly, health conscious
We care about the environment and the health of our customers. That's why we never test on animals, we use 100% recyclable materials, and we personally test each and every batch before it is made available to the public. Most of our products are vegan friendly (with the exception of our balms which contain beeswax, and our Honey Oatmeal Soap, which uses real raw honey, both of which are humanely sourced.) Unfortunately, beer is not gluten free so we cannot offer a gluten free beer soap but non-beer soap is always available for special order in any of our popular scents!
